The Partnership
Senior Manager, Digital Communications December 2023 - September 2024
Responsible for creating and executing strategies to drive new subscribers through digital channels.
Leads the direction of the Partnership’s email and social media marketing strategy, including content creation, design, layout, scheduling, and audience segmentation, resulting in a 21% increase in subscribers in the first six months.
Drafts key marketing and outreach material and edits all marketing, newsletter, and social content.
Drafts content for and manages the social media accounts of the Partnership’s CEO on LinkedIn and X, resulting in a 289% increase in followers in the first six months.
Supports the Communications Director in the development of marketing goals and key performance metrics.

Developed and authored digital media campaigns for social media (organic and paid), email, and websites, aligned to earned media and district-wide priorities.
Managed district-wide newsletter from DCPS Chancellor Ferebee, which can be found at dcpsstrong.com.
Set goals to grow the district's digital media presence; analyzed metrics and translated anecdotal and qualitative data into recommendations to optimize digital communications campaigns.
Served as a resource and advisor to schools and teams across DCPS Central Services.
Tracked progress of projects, high-level initiatives, and emerging issues across to proactively adjust digital communications based on changes in direction, priorities, and resources.
Assisted in producing vertical videos, graphics, and GIFs for online use, as well as photography at events.

Manager, RISE Project (Grant-funded role) October 2021 - October 2023
Managed communications and stakeholder engagement for the RISE $30M TSL grant from the Department of Education and supported the content marketing strategy within the Office of Leadership Development.
Led two major creative projects: website redesign (joindcps.dc.gov) to optimize for device responsiveness, SEO, ADA compliance, language accessibility, and refreshed recruitment videos and photo assets.
Supported the process of distributing a Performance-Based Compensation System and Signing Bonus awards to eligible teachers through auditing data and coordination with internal stakeholders, which led to more than $8.2M of total funds rewarded to educators.
Managed monthly newsletter, designed program resources, and managed Wix website.
Managed special projects, including the DCPS internship program (managed 25 interns), and led four cycles of virtual recruitment fairs resulting in an overall 19% increase in applications.
